Get Some Pulled Pork On Your Fork

Serves 6 

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg Pork Shoulder, bone in
  • 3 tsp sweet paprika
  • 3 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp all spice
  • 2 tsp ground chilli
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 cup GOOD BONES™ Bone Broth (chicken or beef)
  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil 

Method

01: Preheat the oven to 110 degrees Celsius

02: Add the pork to the centre of a baking tray and drizzle over the olive oil

03: Sprinkle over the sea salt, black pepper, spices and crushed garlic. Rub all over the meat really well, ensuring the shoulder is well covered.

04: Heat a baking tray on top of the stove on high heat, sear the shoulder all over until its brown.

5: Remove from the stove and pour in the bone broth and vinegar and cover with a lid or foil

06: Place in the oven and cook for 5  hours, basting with the juices a few times throughout

07: Using 2 forks, pull the pork apart, mixing through all the juices and leave covered until ready to eat.
